Michael S. Devereaux
Director of Operations and Sales Manager
With over 14 years of experience in the home improvement industry, Michael is responsible for long-range strategic planning and oversees the development of policies for sales, marketing and operations. Michael's expertise lies in the ability to take an idea for improving the window and door sales and installation process and systematically develop it into a practical, profitable procedure. Michael's innovations at Citywide Windows help to continually improve the company's operational and logistical efficiency. In addition, Michael brings hands on experience with factory and field training.

Jeremy W. Devereaux
Installation Manager and Trainer
As one of the countries few certified Lead Renovators and Window Installer, Instructor and Craftsman, Jeremy manages and trains our window installation experts. With over 14 years of experience in window and door installation, Jeremy's installation knowledge is the primary reason Citywide Windows has received exemplary customer satisfaction ratings in the areas of timeliness, cleanliness and attention to detail.
 

History

It all began when Michael decided to follow in his father and grandfathers footsteps and enter "professionally" into the fenestration industry. Michael's grandfather, Robert, had been a professional window and siding installer for a large portion of his adult life. After years of experience installing for Sears, in and around the south central states he decided to establish a more permanent, location based, work opportunity to accommodate his growing family. He settled in Houston, Texas and took a job at one of the largest producers of aluminum products in Texas, Texas Aluminum Industries. In just under 10 years he was responsible for the entire window production division. Michael's father, Curtis, began his working career in the shipyard's of Houston, building offshore drilling rigs for oil companies. He successfully followed his career path moving quickly to supervisory positions due to his clean cut appearance, sturdy moral convictions, and a strong work ethic. Unfortunately, the 80's brought a great crash in the oil business and he was forced to look at other ways to provide for his family. He began a screen company that built custom sized insect and solar screens for residential and commercial properties. What started as a garage based company grew into much more and became the predominant screening and window businesses for the east side of Houston. During the 28 year run this business provided a way for Michael and his younger siblings to gain industry knowledge and invaluable business experience under the consistent leadership of their father.

Citywide Screens & Windows was founded in 1998 by Michael S. Devereaux. In conjunction with his father's business, he began a very modest solar and insect screen installation based business. About a year later he began offering window installations services as well. In 1999, Michael purchased www.screensandwindows.com, www.houstonwindows.com, www.houstonwindow.com and www.texaswindows.com ,from which he launched his company into the world wide web. As public awareness and his relationships with the window manufacturing companies in Houston grew, so did his business. Word of mouth through the close knit fenestration industry brought a hard working, service minded individual, more work than he could handle. By the year 2000, Michael had two employee's and built his business installing windows not only for himself but for several other companies in the Houston area. Early in 2001, he began discussions with a younger sibling, to bring him back to Houston for an opportunity to further grow the business. Jeremy had been traveling all over the country installing windows by the thousands for government sponsored projects, and brought installation expertise along with strong management skills. By the end of 2001 the two brothers were now forging the way together. Teamwork brought about even greater success and in the years since they have been able to work with Ken, Rick, Jason, Patrick, RJ, Danny, Michael, Adam and they look forward to working with new team members in the future.

Since the start in 1998, the company has expanded from residential to working on hotels, schools, apartment complexes, churches, government housing, universities and even skyscrapers. Each team member brings a positive attitude, years of experience, and the skills necessary to perform the professional service that is expected.
